  Elder Network
Elder Network has been providing volunteer services to older adults (clients and volunteers are 55+) in Douglas County for more than 15 years.   Our Peer Support Program matches trained peer volunteers with older adults who need encouragement to face life’s changes that may lead to feelings of confusion, loneliness, isolation, or possibly depression.  Our Respite Care Program provides a trained volunteer to spend 1-4 hours per week with the care recipient allowing the caregiver to take a break from caregiving responsibilities that may be exhausting, stressful and difficult.
